After we finished tidying up the model we each took a copy of our completed rig and started created our walk cycles individually.
First off I decided to refresh my memory on the key frames and where they are placed by opening a previously completed walk cycle I had created along with the notes I had made. some of the notes I made during Kaf's lecture on a the walk cycle include:
frame 1 lean forward - frame 13 other leg takes a step - frame 25 same as the first
v v
passing posistion passing position
frame 4 - down position (lowest point) - lowest point
frame 10 - overshoot - highest point
frame 16 - down position (lowest point) - lowest point
frame 22 - overshoot - highest point

These notes show the basic stuctures what the key frames are and which frame they need to be set at. By following this basic outline I should be able to create a walk cycle without any problems.
This proved to be a fairly easy task as I simply followed my notes and created the keys frames on the specified frames and made sure that Maya was running the animation at 24fps. Once I created all key frames necessary it was able to to be looped without a problem.
During this part of the project I didn't run into any problems thanks to having my notes on the key frames.
