An important part of artwork for a game is the boxart, as it is most likely the first a customer may see and it will be an important part of the games image. Due to this I used a technique a lecturer taught: using 30 second timeframes to draw any ideas that comes to mind. This technique allows for quick ideas to be created and developed upon later.
These are the three quick ideas I came up with, looking at the mood board I created earlier I see that a lot of boxart uses the main protagonist, but due to my ideas lack of a protagonist except that he is a runner I decided to use some of the famous constructs around the quayside for the cover. I feel that the Tyne bridge is the most suitible to use for the box art as the use of The Sage may confuse customers to a music related theme.
