Before I decided to move on with the level I decided to use Photoshop to create a image of what the building would look like if it was symmetrical. I decided that use Photoshop to create this visualization instead of using UDK as this method is a lot quicker than building all the CSG brushes required to create the other half of the building.
This is the image i ended up with and as I predicted it made the mansion feel normal something that I didn't necessarily want, I want the player to feel uneasy as they walk towards this building.
Also during this brainstorming session, I also figured that changing from teleporting system back to a normal room based system would be a better solution. My reasoning for coming to this decision was that the context of teleporting around would make no sense and would possible confuse players and break any sort of immersion for them, especially if it feels like teleporting within the same building.
