I decided that the main hub area will be a mansion similar to one used in "Resident Evil 1", this will be the primary area the player is in before going to different areas to gain keys to unlock the final room.
I decided on a asymmetry look to create a sense of something being wierd before the player even enters and discoers to various portals to other areas. This allows to players to be awared when entering that this may not be a typical mansion.
Inside is the main foyer where I later plan to add a second floor and a locked door to the final room.
