As I'm making a wave defense type game mode the important thing I needed to do is to define the player area, due to time contraints I am unable to create a custome asset for this so I had to go with a static mesh that comes with UDK.
I created the playable area at the top of this static mesh so that the player is confined to a small area. Another reason i chose this mesh was the battlements at the top, they can provide cover for the player and feel as though its a seige on the castle. I used blocking volumes around the top of the castle to prevent the player from leaving this ar
