Once I finished texturing the building I quickly moved onto to texture the landscape I had placed into the scene. The main textures I will be needing is a seamless grass texture and a tree texture which I will use to create an alpha map to for a decal.
I started off by using some textures I picked from cgtextures.com. I started off by trying one of the textures I had picked out, but I quickly realized that they weren't seamless textures as you can see from the screenshot below. As this texture was not seamless you can clearly see where the texture tiles and looks unbelievable.
After this test I made sure when sure for other grass textures would be seamless before I even tried applying the texture.

After tested a few textures, I finally came across a texture that was both seamless and suited my environment, again taken from cgtextures.com. I settled on using this texture as it was very hard to notice any of the seams in the environment.
Texturing the environment was pretty straight forward as the only complication was finding the correct seamless grass texture for my environment.
For the decals I created please refer to my billboarding/decals post as that was the process I used to create my decals.
